Find out what’s planned this month

Here’s a quick round up of what you can expect from The Pop Culture Studio this November:

  • More reviews: I’m going to try to increase the frequency of my reviews. On the book front, I’m currently blitzing through The Animator’s Survival Kit and Terry Prachett’s Raising Steam, whilst I’m three quarters of the way through the first volume of comic book phenomenon Saga by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples. This is also a month where Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar has arrived in cinemas, so expect to hear my thoughts on that (not to mention all those films that are already out that I’ve yet to review!), as well as the many fantastic TV shows I’ve been catching up on over the last few months, such as Orange is the New Black, Utopia, and Doctor Who.
  • Creative announcements: I’m extremely conscious of the fact that I’m almost a month into this experiment, and I’m still yet to announce a single creative project of my own. I’m optimistic that I should be able to make an announcement regarding the first piece of unique pop culture created by me exclusively for The Pop Culture Studio this month. I’d also like to tide you over with a few smaller bits and bobs, but we’ll see how we go (I live my life by the old saying, “Promise a little, deliver a lot!”).
  • Other posts: In addition to reviews, I’m looking forward to getting on my Soapbox about different pop culture topics, as well as writing fun stuff that falls outside the scope of my reviews (which admittedly often stray from the review format themselves.).
