In case you can’t tell, things have gone a bit Christmas crazy here at The Pop Culture Studio this month, and rightly so.
After all, so much of what makes Christmas “the most wonderful time of the year” (aside from all that “peace on earth”/”goodwill to all men” business) is the pop culture that goes along with it!
So yes, it’s fair to say that you can expect several posts focussed on Yuletide-themed movies, books and comics over the next few weeks.
But for those Scrooges among you, those mean ol’ Mr. Grinches who aren’t much into the whole festive season thing, there’s still plenty to look forward to as well (besides coal, although you can expect that too, I’m sure).
This December, we’ve got the last article in the Star Wars-themed series, a review of Star Wars – Episode VII: The Force Awakens, which will arrive shortly after the film itself finally hits theatres on 17 December.
I’ve also been liaising with the latest Five Minutes With… interviewee, which means that the next pop culture insider Q&A shouldn’t be far off either.
Last but not least, I’ll hopefully have more artwork to share on Instagram later this month (that’s certainly the plan, anyway).
That’s it for this month’s Noticeboard – but please sound off at your end! What Christmas-themed work of pop culture would you like to see featured as one of this month’s posts? Let me know in the comments below, or on Twitter or Facebook!
