Noticeboard: June 2016

“You mean it’s already June?!”

“Where does the time go?” That’s pretty much the feeling here at The Pop Culture Studio, where I’m confronted once again by the realisation that it’s June already, and the year is now half over!

I guess that means I better get cracking on this month’s movie, TV and comic book-related posts, before it’s too late!

First off, an explanation regarding the latest Live From the Pop Culture Studio video, which was conspicuous by its absence last month.

As many of you will remember, I was away on holiday for part of May, and whilst this didn’t lead to the large drop in posts that I had warned about, it also meant that I also didn’t get the chance to step behind the camera.

Luckily, I should have a bit more breathing room this month, and I’m hoping to post the next video in early June (and maybe even get a few more locked off, to prevent another hold up in future).

Looking more broadly, I expect it to be a fairly retrospective month, just glancing at the content currently planned. I’d be worried that none of you will be interested in these dusty old bits of pop culture, but given how popular most posts are on material that’s far cry from current, I don’t think I’ve got too much to be concerned about.

Lastly, I have been doing my level best to chain myself to the old digital drawing board, so maybe this month (but more likely next month) I should have another Easel Update for you all.

That’s it for this month’s Noticeboard – if you want to sound off about anything mentioned above, please feel free to do so in the comments below, or on Twitter or Facebook!
